On sunny Easter Saturday I watched a local big band called “The Jazz Workshop” play a handful of tunes inside a bombed-out church in Liverpool. I’ll upload the movies I made onto YouTube this week. The acoustics were impressive.
It was encouraging to see the organisers taking the attitude of “let’s just do it”. They’ve got a bunch of other stuff going on in the next weeks, and over summer, too (so they told me). For example, showing movies on a big screen.
