Little World Festival

I spent last week in Méribel, France at a music festival organised by The Feeling. The Little World Festival was an awesome achievement for the band to organise themselves. The performances all week long were fantastic, with loads of collaborations and one heck of a free gig on the piste (ski slope) to cap it all off on Friday. I’ll upload some photos and maybe a video or two once I get the chance to put them all onto my computer.

It’s too hard to choose a favourite performance from the week, so I’m just going to say that the highlights included multiple performances by The Feeling, Sinéad & The Dawnbreakers, Duke, Fiction Plane, Glenn Tilbrook (of Squeeze), The Young Squires, and Graham Gouldman & Mick Wilson (of 10CC).

For now, I’ve got a lot to get on with this week and a few more trips coming up.

My next gig is this Friday at The Camp pub in St. Albans. I’m the lead guitarist for the Dynamite Blues Band (one night only, playing blues, soul, Motown, etc.). Check out the event on Facebook here. I hope that you can make it along and join in on the fun. Trevor’s harmonica playing is not to be missed.

See you ’round,

Neil

P.S.
Check out this video of a certain Dawnbreaker singing karaoke during the festival wrap-up party after the main gig last Friday.
